ANASO QUER NOVA POSTURA NO COMBATE AO SIDA
Uma nova estratégia de combate ao SIDA em Angola está a ser estudadas por especialistas, que desejam a adaptação do plano às actuais exigências.
A ANASO, Rede Angolana das Organizações de Serviços de Sida, considera o plano estratégico actual desactualizado, carecendo assim de reformulação.
A ONG está a recolher contribuições visando a elaboração de uma nova estratégia, em reunião que teve início hoje, em Luanda.
Deste encontro espera-se um plano estratégico para o quinquénio 2008/2012, com acções para a dinamização das acções da rede da ANASO, enquanto fórum das organizações não governamentais empenhadas na luta contra o VIH/SIDA.
A reunião prolonga-se por cinco dias e nela participam representantes de todas províncias do país.
O secretário executivo da ANASO, António Coelho, reforça a necessidade de se adaptar o plano estratégico da organização ao contexto actual do país.
Segundo o responsável, a ANASO precisa de garantir a sua sustentabilidade no longo prazo, razão que leva ao reajustamento dos programas.
A fuga de quadros para outros sectores, bem como a falta de sustentabilidade das organizações, dificultou a execução do programa do exercício anterior.
